Seri-Art confirms its commitment to women’s welfare by renewing its social commitment to protecting and supporting those in difficult situations. For the second consecutive year, Seri-Art has chosen to make a financial donation to Donne contro la violenza (Women Against Violence), a voluntary organisation based in Crema, active since 1990.
The valuable work of ‘Donne contro la violenza’
Since its foundation, the association Donne contro la violenza has offered support to over 2,000 women who have found a listening ear, help and comfort thanks to the work of its volunteers. Their work is characterised by a free, anonymous and respectful approach, aimed at restoring women’s self-esteem, dignity and, where possible, independence.
Thanks to the financial contribution received from Seri-Art, the association has been able to provide practical help to a number of women, supporting them with the costs of food, rent, household utilities and medical care for themselves and their children. This support has proved essential in dealing with situations of physical, psychological and economic violence and cases of stalking.
Seri-Art’s commitment to a more peaceful Christmas
In addition to supporting essential activities such as financial assistance, the donation helps to make the Christmas period special for families in need. Buying toys for children is a small gesture that can bring joy and serenity to those who are going through difficult times.
A concrete and ongoing commitment
With this initiative, Seri-Art demonstrates how a company can go beyond its commercial activities, embracing values of solidarity and contributing in a tangible way to the improvement of society.
‘Donne contro la violenza’: an association that makes a difference
Women Against Violence is registered in the Single National Register of the Third Sector (Runts) and operates thanks to the work of trained and passionate volunteers. Their activities are not limited to practical support: they also promote a culture of respect for every person, raising awareness in the local area on issues related to gender-based violence.
Seri-Art: a company with concrete values
Seri-Art’s contribution is valuable not only for the women assisted by the association, but also for their children, who can hope for a more peaceful future. These small but significant gestures demonstrate how the union between companies and associations can have a positive impact on the lives of many people.
